Kaydan Wealth Management helps warm those in need this winter!
Fenton, MI – On Friday, December 17, 2021, Kaydan Wealth Management tallied up 128 coats and over $5,000 for yet another successful coat drive. The coats were donated to Carriage Town Ministries in downtown Flint, MI as the result of Kaydan Wealth Management’s 8th Annual One Warm Coat Drive. Monetary donations collected on the Kaydan Cares One Warm Coat website support OWC’s overall mission to help warm children, families, veterans, seniors and the homeless all across North America.
Each year, the Founder of Kaydan Wealth Management, Jim Kruzan, CFP®, CRPC®, and his wife, Dena, match each donated coat with a brand new coat. This year, in lieu of coats and in the hopes of having a greater local impact, the Kruzan’s personally donated nearly $4,000 directly to Carriage Town Ministries. This money allows Carriage Town the flexibility to purchase other essentials like blankets and bedding, warm weather attire, personal hygiene products, etc.
“We’re always so grateful for the donations from you guys. This is going to go a long way in helping support our residents,” shared Matt Dieterle, Donation Supervisor at Carriage Town Ministries.
“Every year, I look forward to counting coats and filling every square inch of my car to deliver donations to those who need them most. One Warm Coat is a wonderful partner! We could easily do this coat drive on our own, but working with One Warm Coat allows us to build on our mission statement and make a greater impact both locally and nationally,” said Danielle Howard, Director of Marketing and Communications at Kaydan Wealth Management. “It also allows many of our clients and friends and family who are out of state or the country to participate. One Warm Coat is so inspirational and offers so many great resources to help us grow our coat drive every year. They allow us to be a part of something that is truly making a difference in the world. This is Kaydan Wealth Management’s 8th Annual One Warm Coat Drive. Over the years, Kaydan Wealth Management has brought together its community to help collect and donate over 1,400 coats and over $12,000.
Last year, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 260,000 coats were distributed across North America to children and adults in need through One Warm Coat’s Coat Drive Program. They hope to surpass that total this year. “We are grateful for the hard work and support of Kaydan Wealth Management. About One Warm Coat
One Warm Coat is a national nonprofit organization that provides free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability. Since 1992, One Warm Coat has worked with volunteers and sponsors to hold more than 40,000 coat drives, collecting nearly 7 million coats which have been distributed to people in need through a network of more than 1,000 nonprofit partners across all 50 states. Individuals and organizations can get involved by donating coats, holding coat drives, and making financial donations. Every $1 donated warms 1 person. Shelter from the elements is a basic human need along with nourishing food, drinkable water, and a safe place to sleep. One Warm Coat believes in each person’s right to protection from the cold and is committed to sharing warmth, without discrimination, one coat at a time.
