Zooming Right Along

With Coronavirus cases on the rise, and more than half of us still working remotely, we continue to adapt to help ensure the safety and health of our team so we can continue to work and serve you, our clients, in an efficient and effective manner.

This pandemic has proven that when it comes to remote work, one of the keys to success is to remain closely connected. To help us achieve this goal, we’ve come to rely heavily on technology. Thankfully, due to the investment we put into technology years ago, working remotely has been both seamless and productive for our team.

For many years, it’s been second nature to share information over a quick phone call, text, or email. While those are convenient methods of communication, they lack the opportunity to pick up on very important non-verbal cues. Now more than ever, face-to-face interactions are vital when it comes to deepening our connections and understanding one another.  This is one of the reasons why we have expanded our use of video-conferencing. It allows our team to actively collaborate and hold each other accountable and best of all, it allows our wealth advisors the opportunity to provide a more meaningful experience by conducting “face-to-face” reviews.

After testing a number of different platforms over the past few years, Zoom has become our preferred tool for video-conferencing. Zoom allows us to meet in real-time and share content on a secure, web-based platform. Throughout the past few months, our wealth advisors have been conducting client account reviews over Zoom and have received wonderful feedback. Our Client Experience team is continuing to reach out to schedule client reviews so please keep an eye on your email for these meeting invitations. If you are a rookie Zoom user, please use this cheat sheet to help prepare for your Zoom meeting.

Should you need to visit our office regarding your account(s), we will continue to offer curbside service at our Fenton location only.
