Shawn oversees the Client Experience Team and is responsible for educating and training her team on new policies and procedures as they relate to client on-boarding, account opening and maintenance, and processing transfers and withdrawals. Additionally, Shawn assigns and tracks workflow activities and reports financials to department heads.

What’s your favorite TV show, and why?
Parenthood. It had a great cast, the characters were very relatable and it addressed real issues that a lot of families face. It was always good for a laugh, a cry, and was thought-provoking.
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas! It’s all about celebrating the birth of Christ, giving, love, family, and food. Plus, I love giving gifts to others.
Hobbies, volunteer work, community activities?
Camping, gardening, cooking, reading, outdoor activities (walking, hiking, boating, spending time up north). I am also an active participant in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life and Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
What are your specific goals for KWM clients?
I feel strongly about the importance of educating our clients as much as possible, especially when it comes to our policies and procedures, reading statements, and understanding billing. I want our clients to know we are their advocates, especially in regard to difficult issues like death, divorce, and medical hardships. And finally, I want to always provide a team that is approachable and knowledgeable, so our clients feel they can address any questions that arise in a comfortable atmosphere.
