What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to play a part in helping clients achieve their dreams, whatever that may be—traveling more, retiring early to spend time with family, or supporting charitable organizations. I also enjoy hearing people’s stories and helping them achieve their goals.

What qualities do you bring to client relationships?
Calmness and patience. I generally don’t let much get to me or bother me, and I’ve always been told that I’m very patient. I believe those qualities help put clients at ease as they navigate important financial decisions.

Who is your biggest inspiration?
My grandpa. He was a dedicated go-getter who started his own meat market after he and his brothers closed their grocery store. He was always doubted in school and thought to be the class clown, but he built a successful business that has provided for much of my family. More importantly, he is a true family man who always puts his family before himself. He’s my idol.

What are you passionate about?
Cooking. I love cooking and trying new recipes. I once heard that food is a form of art with real-life utility. It can nourish the body while also serving as a way to express yourself. For a long time, I thought I’d become a chef, until I realized I enjoy cooking simply for the fun of it.

Who would you most like to have a cup of coffee or cocktail with?
First, I’d love to have a cup of coffee with Jesus Christ. It would be an honor to simply sit in His presence. Second, I’d enjoy having a beer or glass of wine with Christopher Nolan and picking his brain about filmmaking and cinematography.

What’s your favorite quote?
“Comparison is the thief of joy.” — Theodore Roosevelt
