Kaydan Cares partners with One Warm Coat to help donate a record number of warm coats!
This winter, Kaydan Cares teamed up with One Warm Coat again to host our 5th Annual Coat Drive. We’d like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our clients, friends and community for supporting our efforts. For many families, a warm coat is considered a luxury that is just simply out of the budget. Kaydan Cares makes it our mission every winter to bring warmth and a small sense of relief to our neighbors in need.
We’re proud to announce the collection of $140 and donation of 211 coats, along with numerous pairs of boots, gloves, hats, scarves and snow pants. Beginning in October, collection boxes were displayed at both our Fenton and Auburn Hills offices. A month into collection, we exceeded the 130 coats donated for our 2017 coat drive with a first round donation of 170 coats! As promised, Kaydan Cares matched the number of coats donated with brand new coats again this year. That made our 2018 grand total a personal record breaking 423 coats donated!!! All donated items have been delivered to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, Mi to be distributed to the community.
