Forty-five million Americans are currently living in poverty. For these families and individuals, a warm coat is a budget extra they simply cannot afford. On behalf of Kaydan Wealth Management and One Warm Coat, we’d like to share our sincerest gratitude to our clients, friends and community for participating in our One Warm Coat drive and efforts to warm our neighbors in need. We’re proud to announce the collection and donation of over 125 clean, gently used warm coats, and numerous pairs of boots, gloves, hats, scarves and snow pants. Beginning in October, items were collected at our Fenton and Auburn Hills offices. On December 16, 2015, all coats and additional donated items were delivered to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, Mi.
While our coat drive has come to an end for the year, winter has only just begun. We strongly encourage our friends and community to continue to donate clean, gently used warm coats throughout the season.

One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization that works to provide a free, warm coat to any person in need. One Warm Coat supports individuals, groups, companies and organizations across the country by providing the tools and resources needed to hold a successful coat drive. Coats are distributed in the communities where they were collected, to children and adults in need, without charge, discrimination or obligation. Since One Warm Coat’s inception in 1992, they have worked with their volunteers to give away more than 4 million coats and spread awareness about the need for warm coats.
