On behalf of Kaydan Wealth Management, One Warm Coat, and Toys For Tots, we’d like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our clients, friends and community for participating in our 2016 One Warm Coat drive and Toys For Tots collection. For many families, a warm coat is considered a luxury and a toy under the Christmas tree is just simply out of the budget. This winter, Kaydan Cares made it our mission to bring a little extra cheer and warmth to our neighbors in need.
We’re proud to announce the collection and donation of over 200 clean, gently used warm coats, and numerous pairs of boots, gloves, hats, scarves and snow pants. Beginning in October, items were collected at our Fenton and Auburn Hills offices. On December 16, 2016, all coats and additional donated items were delivered to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, Mi.
In addition, we held our first Toys For Tots collection and donated over 50 toys, bikes and learning activities to the Toys For Tots Foundation of Genesee County. We learned that while Toys For Tots promises only one toy for each child in need, Toys For Tots Foundation of Genesee County is so generously supported by its community that they’re able to provide each child six gifts! Christmas morning will be so special for those children.
Finally, if you’ve been to either of our offices this month, you’ve seen them beautifully adorned with red poinsettias. Proceeds from the purchase of the poinsettias were donated to the American Cancer Society.
